Because he wanted our muffins! That’s right. The Bakin’ Boys are also accomplished muffin makers. Why do we have muffins? Maybe because we were seeking a new challenge. Or maybe the cookies were getting lonely. Or maybe it’s because we found other muffins somewhat lacking.
The truth is, we were on a quest to find the perfect muffin. But we soon realised that we had to make our own. Those that we found were either too stale, or too oily, or too hard, or too cakey, or too artificial. The perfect muffin should have a light, thin crust to seal in the freshness. It should be dense and moist on the inside, with every bite providing a rich burst of natural goodness. It shouldn’t be too hard or too soft, too sweet or too bland, too rich or too flat. We think our muffins are 0.00000001m 2 away from perfection. We’re not bragging.
